Making the long hike through SLC International!

There are two opposing sides when discussing the new SLC Airport.   Those that hate it and those that love it.   You will likely receive this notification if your travels include a visit through SLC International.

“Please wear good walking shoes; there is a considerable walk between terminals.

Numerous posters (along with beautiful artwork) line the walls in that long tunnel between the A gates and the B gates.

One of them says something like “Doctors suggest that you get 10,000 steps in per day; we’re just looking out for your health.”

We flew from Salt Lake City to Miami on Saturday. It was quite a contrast between the weather and the Airports!     I’m not a big fan of Miami International.  It just feels musty. I also think that it’s kind of confusing to navigate.     I love the layout of SCL International.  It’s brand new, of course, it’s attractive, but I think it was designed very well.  Even with the long walk!   The design lends well to our Utah landscape.

I’m glad to make another trip through this beautiful new Airport!  I think it will get even better as they get into next year and add another tunnel closer to the entrance and TSA.

In the meantime, I hope that everyone enjoys that lovely walk!
