As an avid supporter of youth development and education, I find great joy in working closely with our state’s high schools. Given concerns regarding the behavior and responsibility of today’s youth, I believe it’s important to highlight the positive experiences I’ve had with the remarkable young individuals I’ve encountered.

Within my group of hotels, it’s not uncommon for us to host several high school teams each week, forging strong connections with various school districts throughout Utah, including Washington County, Iron County, Uintah, and other School Districts.  Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know many coaches, administrators, athletic directors, secretaries, and even school district superintendents.

Collaborating with these dedicated individuals has made it evident why we consistently welcome well-behaved and respectful students from these schools. There’s an inherent expectation of good conduct when these students travel, and it’s heartening to witness them uphold these standards.

I often encounter inquiries about our policy on accommodating high school teams, to which I confidently respond with a resounding “yes.” We have established conduct agreements and clear expectations upon their arrival, resulting in rare instances of trouble. 😊

Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting the Uintah High School Baseball team, whose exemplary behavior exemplified the high standards we’ve come to expect. Their quiet and respectful demeanor impressed our staff and garnered praise from fellow guests. It’s encounters like these reaffirm my belief in the outstanding character of Utah’s high school students.

We are genuinely excited to continue working with high school teams across our state. If your school or organization plans a trip to our area and requires accommodations, please don’t hesitate to reach out. With a network of 21 hotels spanning from Spanish Fork to North Salt Lake and beyond into rural Utah, we are well-equipped to meet your needs.

Here’s to nurturing the next generation of leaders and achievers within our Utah school districts! 🏫🧳
